At Big Town Mall, we used to have a Farmer’s Market. It was small yet lovely and so delicious. I used to take my Grandma out to the Farmer’s Market several days a week for fresh produce and veggies! My opinion is that we should bring the Farmer’s Market to the old side of town near Military Pkway. This location is owned by Mike Anderson! I think it would bring so many people from east Dallas to downtown Mesquite. I will ask and we will see!

I want Mike to support legislation for the City of Mesquite to create an 1,000 feet ordinance prohibiting beer stores near our schools. I know he will do anything he can for our community, Edgemont Park.

I am as equally disappointed our mayor’s lack of a public statement on the alcohol vote. He let his friends run the vote, said nothing, waited until the vote was taken, and only now, is trying to get with the winning side. These two definitely win the negative impact award for my community”.
